Family Vacation/Wedding We rented the house, there was 8 in our group. First of all, our flights were 10 hrs delayed, we were unable to communicate with Lisa as we were on a flight. Our wedding party of 4 Guests were also delayed, Lisa was very unhelpful and had NO compassion for our situation. Our guests were late getting in, and noone was there to meet them at the house. We never made the ferry, and ended up having to stay the night in Cancun. All Lisa was concerned about was getting her final payment, in which she insisted we be at the property for 8:00 AM, even though we did not get to our hotel in Cancun until 2:00AM. The property was beautiful and the staff kept it very clean! Once Lisa got her money we never saw her again. There is an outdoor kitchen that comes with the house, we were charged 600.00$USD for the use of this outdoor kitchen that is supposed to be with the house. The house accommodates 14 people, there was exactly 14 ppl at our little ceremony. We were charged the 600.00$ for supposingly liquor license . We never saw a license posted once. And I am pretty sure a license does not cost 600.00$USD. Once our numbers changed for the wedding we found Lisa very unhelpful and at times snotty. She took it personally, this was not her day, and she was not empathetic AT ALL. We were allowed 14ppl at the event, anything over 14 ppl is an extra 20.00$ USD, so it may hold 50 ppl, but it will cost 20.00$USD per person. On top of the $600.00USD , for the outdoor kitchen area that comes with the house anyway. We also paid $950.00 USD per night for the house. Noone showed us around and Lisa just took her money and ran never to be seen for the rest of our stay. It makes me wonder how much the owner actually knows?? Casa Bonita is beautiful, but I would not stay there again because of Lisa Clemmons, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Great Place To Stay!! This was our second stay at Casa Bonita and we will be back many more times! Not your typical hotel or bnb, Casa Bonita is like staying at a family property where the staff know your name and treat you like one of their own. Thank you to the Garza family for their hospitality and thank you to Lisa Clemens for all that she does to make your stay on Isla perfect!

Great for family of 10 We stayed 4 days at the penthouse with our family of 10 and had a wonderful time. The penthouse is large enough for 5 adults 3 teenagers and a twin of 8. We enjoyed the gorgeous views from the terrace, the pool and the private little beach. The owners are wonderful and it was the perfect stay for our family. We would love to come again!

Great time in Isla! Our family of 5 had a great time in Isla! Part of that was due to the absolutely amazing manager Lisa! She was super helpful in all aspects of our vacation! Casa Bonita is closer to the south end of the island so I would recommend a golf cart for your stay. Lisa helped us procure one on our first day, that we kept for the week. The beach is very small at this location but we still enjoyed it! There are many nearby beaches to enjoy - just ask! I highly recommend Isla for a family friendly vacation. My kids had a great time, and so did we!

A Vacation to Remember Our family of six spent a week at Casa Bonita and had the most wonderful time. Gorgeous scenery and so many things to do. Lisa and her staff were incredibly helpful and always ready with recommendations.

Two weeks of fun and sun If your vacation plans have you spending a few days or more on Isla Mujeres be sure to check out Casa Bonita. We and our friends have booked at this property almost every time we have been to Isla Mujeres and had nothing but good experiences. For our last stay in late Jan. we booked a two bedroom unit The unit was clean, modern and had everything we needed (AC worked good) for a two week stay. The balcony was large and faced the water with great views. The balcony proved to be a great spot for drinks and watching sunsets. The property has a nice and well maintained pool which also overlooks the water as well as a small sandy beach. Most days you will find that you will have the pool or beach to yourselves. Casa Bonita is located on the south (less developed) end of the island which worked well for us, we avoided all the street and bar noise at night. The bonus to staying here is Lisa, the on sight property manager. She and her staff keep all things running smoothly. The best part is her knowledge of the good spots for food, drink and fum. The staff at Casa Bonita are willing to make that extra effort to ensure you enjoy your stay.

A Celebration to Remember We stayed at Casa Bonita as part of a group of nine people ranging from age 30 to age 55 (single and married couples). From the start, this place was perfect. During the online booking process, Diana was lovely to deal with, and when we arrived at the property, Lisa (the manager) couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful, and available. Lisa went above and beyond any expectation of a property manager for the several days we were there. She brought this great house to the level of perfection. In her amazingness (new word), she even arranged a last-minute personal chef for us. This was a tremendous feat, as she only had a few hours to put it together. It was a meal that we will all remember for the rest of our lives. Further, when there was a weather-related, late-night, island-wide power outage, she got out of bed and brought us battery-operated lighting. Upon arrival, all members of our group remarked about how much they loved it all - the house, the grounds, the pool, and the beach. Each person/couple found a bedroom that was perfect for them on each of the three floors of the house. Every room has a great view of the beautiful, lush grounds and/or the crystal blue waters below. We loved how the house has an authentic Mexican feel, but with all of the comforts of a modern home. The pool is large enough for our whole group, in addition to the guests of the villas. There is a private beach area with more than ample seating that is perfect for the terrific sunsets, morning coffee, outdoor yoga, and just hanging out with friends. The outdoor dining area is also a true sell! When we first saw the huge palapa with the outdoor kitchen, we couldn't believe it was part of our rental. Having a house with daily housecleaning was amazing. Every member of the staff was friendly. Casa Bonita has all of the comfort of renting a house combined with the amenities of staying at a hotel. The location of Casa Bonita is also terrific. I have stayed in the airport strip area on the east and west sides of the island and on the southern end of the island. Even though Casa has the secluded feel that we wanted, it is within walking distance of several restaurants and Punta Sur. Several of us are already planning our next escape to Casa Bonita!

Low-Key Relaxation This was our third, multi-week stay at Villa Bonita and have enjoyed it every time! We stayed in a different condo in the complex, on each vacation; each accomodation was well appointed, comfortable and clean. For two of our visits, we shared a condo with friends. There was plenty of room and privacy in each condo to accommodate two couples. The facility also has a wonderful pool and a nice beach on the bay. It is very helpful to have the welcoming property manager, Lisa, on site. She provided suggestions for dinner as well as activities or if we needed any assistance. On one occasion, she also helped us obtain medical help for a member of our party. If you want a quiet, clean place to stay on Isla, Casa Bonita is your ticket.

Perfect location Our room was a nice size and easy to keep cool. It had some utensils so we made fruity breakfasts. Important as there was no bar or restaurant here. But we did have a big fridge, so stocked up with refreshments. The private beach is just gorgeous and there were fish, eels, sea urchins etc right at the shore. The staff were amenable and chatty and cleaning efficient. But with no facilities, it's hard to comment on the service. Breakfast was not available, as stated on the listing. The room was very noisy in the mornings and afternoon, as we were above a water pump. But this only lasted a few hours and didn't disturb our sleep. Would stay again.

A little slice of Heaven We stay at Casa Bonita every year. We find if clean, comfortable, priced well, close to many good Resturants. The pool is nice and great access to the beach. It is a short distance by golf cart to the downtown area.
