The holidays are approaching … it’s time to choose your dream destination, and this time it’s Cancun ! You’ve probably been waiting for these heavenly beaches of white sand and turquoise water, surrounded by numerous palm trees, right? But before you fly to paradise, there are some administrative procedures you need to complete if you’re coming from the United States.
Valid passport
Passport valid for the duration of your stay. If you’re traveling with children, please note that from now on, minors, regardless of age, must also have an individual passport.
If your trip to Mexico involves crossing the U.S. border by land, you will be required, even for a day trip, to complete an I94W form, issued by immigration authorities upon arrival, pay a fee of approximately $6 (payable in U.S. dollars only), and present your passport.
Attention! Travelers staying in the state of Quintana Roo (Cancún, Playa del Carmen) must always carry their original passport and proof of stay in the country as tourists: inspections are frequent, and those who do not present the required documents may be subject to coercive measures.
Once everything’s in order, let’s go! We’ll be waiting for you at Casa Maya to take care of you. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the moment.
